New York Presbyterian Hospital is one of the most comprehensive university hospitals in the world, with leading specialists in every field of medicine. NYPH worked with En-Power Group on its development of its comprehensive energy reduction and management strategy, which included energy benchmarking, competitive procurement, conservation initiatives, combined heat and power and financial incentives. En-Power Group assisted NYPH in implemented many projects, garnering recognition from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy as 2005 and 2006 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year (Leadership in Energy Management) and 2007 and 2008 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year (Sustained Excellence in Energy Management).

360 Owners Corporation was already in the process of a major exterior upgrade of this 465 unit multifamily residential building located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan when they hired En-Power Group to put together a comprehensive energy reduction plan. The centerpiece of this plan was the installation of a new air conditioning system, for which the building was able to obtain NYSERDA incentives, a Con Edison steam discount, and a NYSERDA Energy Smart Loan.

Winston Churchill Owners is a 333 unit market rate multifamily residential building in New York City. From oil to gas conversion to the installation of new domestic hot water heaters and new central cooling system, En-Power Group helped the Winston Churchill significantly reduce the operating cost to all shareholders.

Worksman Cycle located in Ozone Park, NY is America’s oldest bicycle manufacturer having produced bicycles and tricycles in New York City since 1898. Today they specialize in the manufacturing and distribution of tricycles and food service carts to clients worldwide. Worksman Cycle hired the En-Power Group to develop a comprehensive energy plan to help it reduce energy consumption, energy cost, carbon emissions and maximize the use of various NYC/NYS incentive programs. As part of this program, the site implemented a solar PV system to power it manufacturing facility and distribution warehouse, upgraded their lighting system and participated in the NYISO demand response program.

River Point Towers is a 320,000 square foot multi-family residential cooperative built in 1965 located in NYC. The facility replaced the existing chilled water equipment with new natural gas fired air conditioning system and combined heat and power equipment to provide electricity, heating and cooling for the facility. The structure was performed under an energy purchase agreement that required no financing requirement of the facility. As part of this installation, the En-Power Group obtained NYSERDA incentives to increase the buildings bottom line of savings.

The Olnick Organization is a premier developer of residential, commercial and hotel properties that managed multiple facilities in New York and New Jersey. We have performed services in many of their facilities including energy audits, project implementation services and incentive recovery.

Incorporated in 1893, Ansonia is an All-American City with a population of over 18,000 residences located on the Naugatuck River about 12 miles northwest of New Haven. The City reached out to the En-Power Group to assist the City with its energy purchasing, the implementation of master energy plan for the City, and installation of a 200 kW solar PV system at Ansonia High School.

The Columbia University is one of the top academic and research institutions in the world, providing world-class educations and conducting path-breaking research in medicine, science, the arts, and the humanities. En-Power Group is working with the University to obtain incentives for the installation of new chillers and improvements to the primary chilled water/condenser water pumps for their North Campus as a part of their participation in PlaNYC and their long-standing commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

East River Tenant Corporation is a 166-unit market rate multifamily residential co-op in New York City that had been looking to reduce energy consumption, operating costs and environmental impact for its aging energy infrastructure.  As a result, they reached out to the En-Power Group for help to put together a cost effective solution.
